Hey, remember a few posts back I shared about us turning this unused hallway into a white board hall? Well, the project is about 80% done. We actually started it about 3 weeks ago, but we kept coming up against problems. We’ve completed the major part or the two walls in the hall way. Only the parts above and between doors now. Not looking forward to it but it’s looking oh so good.
As we suspected, the kids looooove it. They’ve been enjoying drawing and writing, playing school on the walls – hey this is the only place they can draw on the wall without mommy going crazy. Gotta love that. Here’s a picture of one of them happily drawing away.

If you’re thinking of setting up your own white board walls, the material we used is called Tile Board, we got it at Lowes and this thing is very affordable, about $13 per sheet. But you’ll need to have a truck to pick it up because they are large.
It was a real pain getting them up because the material is quite fragile. It’s like a very thin coating and soft. So any hard pressing can create a hole or scratch it. It’s not as bad as it sounds. It still took a lot of hard knocks. Lastly, stock up on lots of markers
