Time For Saving

Actually, any time is a good time for saving. Good economy or not. But since things are on a down turn lately, it doesn’t hurt to tighten things up even further. I for one have always been thrifty enough. We buy store brands and make do without.
Lately, I’ve also started using coupons - no I’m not one of those super motivated get things for free and have a closet full of make up or shampoo that I never use. But I do use them especially for items I know I’ll be using. I’ve even tried menu planning but honestly, haven’t quite got the hang of it yet.
When I married my husband, I told him I’m not a home maker. So don’t expect a spotless home and meals cooked on time every night. That doesn’t mean I don’t try. That’s why I need all the help I can get.
