Once You Know, You Newegg

I love organizing and storage so when I saw this cableyoyo on sale – I knew I had to share! I bought a laptop about a month ago and ever since I’ve enjoyed a lack of cords surrounding my work station. I have yet to switch my music and podcasts to it though and every time I go back to the desktop to update my iTunes (and thus my iPod), I am annoyed with the cords. I never did buy a pack when learning about the cableyoyo’s before, but I am not letting this sale pass me up.

PS. Yep we have written about this product before – Lynette posted about it at Cable Organizer Solution Found.

I ordered two - one for my ipod cord and one for my headphones cord. I plan on leaving the cases with the desktop though so hopefully it will work well for those cords.

So how do you like it Tsoniki? I actually did get me a pack at full price not long after blogging about it. The experience? Well, it's been so so. I finally realize it's not the best thing to use if you're mobile.

It's rather large to carry around and the cables should be a certain thickness. Too thin and it would unwind completely if you're trying to use it while carrying it around. Too thick and it nips in the wires. I had one USB cord that has a small cut into the plastic casing from it. Also, length. Too long and it won't do either.

I've finally used it as wire storage. I will probably finally stick it to the side of my PC maybe to hold those unwieldly headset cords. But I don't recommend it on the go.
