Scrapper’s Dream
by Lynette
I just saw this way too cool gadget last weekend. You scrappers are probably laughing at me for discovering this only now since this thing has been available for a while. I’m not much of a scrapbooker. Heck, I’m not even good with crafts - too impatient but always impressed with the cool tools crafters get.
The Cricut Personal Electronic Cutter is
a personal diecut maker. How cool is that? The first thing that came to mind was school. Having volunteered in school to do cut outs and pasting work for the kindergarteners, cutting is certainly the least favorite part of scrapbooking for me at least. The Cricut can cut out letters, shapes and designs in all kinds of fonts too. You don’t need a computer, just punch in your letters and words, feed the cutting sheet to it and the paper of course and voila!
I saw it in Walmart going for just under $200 and the cartridges for different designs are $60 a pop. Not cheap but sure beats manual cutting. Also available in Amazon.
