Oral-B Vitality Precision Clean Power Toothbrush
by Carin
I switched from a manual toothbrush to an electric toothbrush a few years ago and I have never looked back. When my first electric toothbrush died, I looked around for a replacement but did not want to spend a lot of money on it.
I finally settled on the Oral-B Vitality Precision Clean Power Toothbrush. It costs far less than other rechargeable electric toothbrushes. It is actually a rechargeable version of a battery-powered toothbrush. That’s the only downside about this toothbrush is that once the battery dies, so does the toothbrush. But I’ve heard that you can get a few years of use out of it before the battery dies.
The cool feature that comes with this toothbrush is the pulsating signal after two minutes of recommended brushing time. Too often, I find myself not brushing long enough so this feature really helps.
The brush head only spins. It doesn’t pulse or move from side-to-side or does any of the other fancy stuff. You are also not able to control the speed of the brushing. Still, it is way better than using a manual toothbrush. I find that the round brushhead really surrounds each tooth and it’s also easy to reach those hard to reach areas. My teeth feel really clean after each brushing. It really does help keep plaque and gum diseases away. I had my last dentist check-up about a month ago and I still get good reports from the dentist even though I switched from a more expensive electric toothbrush to this. So, obviously, it’s getting the job done at a lesser cost!
There is currently a sale on this particular toothbrush on Amazon. It costs only $14.99 and it’s eligible for free super saver shipping. You can’t beat the price! As for the brushheads, I would recommend getting replacements off Ebay as they are cheaper than getting them from the stores. If you’ve never owned an electric toothbrush before, this would be a good start.
