Mom's Gadgets

In our home, there’s a very small and awfully dark closet. I use it to keep our linens. Unfortunately there is no light in this tiny closet and no electrical hookup in it too. The only way is to re-wire stuff which I leave to DH to do but you know how it is… my honey-do list is so long I rarely bother to update it anymore. So I get creative
I’ve tried those round plastic push lights but they give out such measly light it’s not worth my time. Besides, they suck battery power faster than an SUV guzzles gas. When I found the Sylvania Dot-It, I was a little apprehensive.

But I’m a HUGE fan of LED lights as you would have noticed. They are bright and so thrifty with energy. We quickly purchased one (just to test) and I stuck it to the bottom most shelf in that dark closet. It’s been almost a year now. I have never changed batteries and it gives me more light than anything I’ve ever used. Love, love, love it. Which reminds me, I need to get one for every shelf in that closet. Woo hoo! I can finally see my linens and match them correctly
