Invisible Ink Not For Kids Only

Remember those ’secret’ letters written in so called invisible ink? I had a lot of fun creating those. Well, last night while flipping through a magazine the Invis-ID caught my eye. I’ve tried many ways to mark my geeky possessions without defacing them or having people simply remove them.
Engraving is one way but… *sigh* my heart aches at the thought of cutting on that beautiful stainless steel finish of my Powerbook, or if you have one, the iPod.
The Ivis-ID is an invisible ink pen. Markings are permanent and will only show up under UV lighting. They say it is recommended by law enforcement and insurance companies. A ’starter’ set with pen and light costs $24.95 and replacement pens go for $4.95 at time of writing. Not bad, pretty affordable.
