I Paid For It Now Let Me Have My Movie/Music
by Lynette
A bit bored last weekend, I decided to try out Amazon Unbox. I got really excited because they supported the Archos
AV700 portable media player which I love. Thinking it was a good deal since I could unload it to the player, I could take the show and let my kids watch it wherever we go. Well I haven’t had luck loading it on (and I’m no dummy).
Now, I find the songs I purchased through Walmart.com music download a while back won’t work - I can’t even import the license! Walmart support is just horrible. They asked me to fill in a bunch of questions to submit a help ticket and when they replied they asked for that information all over again.
The entertainment industry seriously is soooooo daft. Hey, I have no trouble paying for the movie/music whatever but now you make me jump through 10 million hoops to use what I paid for - is it any wonder people are flocking to find illegal downloads.
Argh! I’m SO upset now.

I agree with you.
If we buy it, then it is ours to do whatever we want with it.
The entertainment industry have been over charging us
for years. I am glad that Amazon did something about it.
Great Post.

Well actually, Amazon didn’t fare that well either. I found out my model doesn’t work with it. I have the PocketDish AV700e which is based on Archos’ own AV700 but from my research, I’ve discovered there are other differences that sets it apart. I can’t get it to work with Amazon Unbox
still sorely disappointed.
