Right now, my mind’s highly tuned to ’school’ stuff this being my first year having a school age child. So, when I saw this post on Digg I just knew I had to check it out. Downloads.com is featuring some pretty cool downloads for school. They have all sorts of stuff highlighted from Kindergarteners all the way to college. Go see if there’s anything that might interest you and your child.

Talking about software, being a software junkie, I love checking them out for my kids. Many a times when dealing with software (and because my kids are still little), we’d sit together to learn the software and how to handle the keyboard and mouse properly and when we’re done they really feel like they accomplished so much. My oldest picks up really quick. There’s one learning game Sebran (free) that she’s almost a whiz at by now. I’ve had Sebran for about 3 years, lots of different games
some we haven’t even really gone into yet. You can download it here.
