Anyone with pets or children should have an Automotive Wireless Video Parking Reverse n Sensor. As a driver I believe the most vulnerable time is when we are backing up our vehicle. The fear is that a bike or possibly an animal is lying behind one of the back wheels. Or worse yet, a child. Recently singer/songwriter Steven Curtis Chapman had a family tragedy where this device could have been a lifesaver. Hopefully in the future they will make this gadget mandatory in all vehicles.

The Automotive Video Parking Sensor License Plate Bracket has built-in sensors so you can see if there is an animal or person in close proximity to your vehicle. When the sensor on the back license plate detects an object within 3 feet, the wireless receiver inside the car will relay a sounding alert . As the vehicle moves closer to the object, the alert becomes louder and faster. The good news is the wireless device will not interfere with your AM/FM or even satellite radio.

This would be the perfect gift for a young family or as a baby shower gift.

I love toasted sandwiches and this stove top machine makes the best grilled sandwiches. With its non-stick heavy metal it heats up quickly and cooks evenly. No spatula needed, the locking handles keep all the goodness locked inside. One extra item you don’t have to clean afterwards!

With the benefit of extra-long, easy-grip handles you are not burned by the heat of the stove. Also, the sandwich griller can be used on either gas or electric burners. No matter what you decide to make, grilled cheese, tuna melts, or french toast, they all come out tasting like bistro quality.

Clean up is a breeze with a little soap and water from the sink to wipe down the inside. I was also pleasantly surprised that it was easy to store. The handles can be locked, which allows you to tuck it in away like a briefcase or laying flat.

This great toaster sandwich griller makes every day sandwiches into something a little more special!

I spend a great deal of time online. Some of that time is spent in networking, either through a social networking group, a micro-blog such as Twitter, or sometimes on occasion in a chat room or webinar. I also listen to podcasts periodically while sitting at my computer, so I discovered a while back a need for a good quality headset.

After doing some research I finally ordered one very similar to this one. It came in the mail and I was giddy to try it. The only issues I have sometimes with it is a bit of static if I move too much, but other than that it is great. You can block out background noise whether you are listening to or recording a podcast. Yes it has a mic too it’s not JUST a headset.

It is also comfortable and lightweight so you truly don’t mind wearing it. Plus it hooks up to your computer via USB so most likely you have more than one plug and can use other attachments simultaneously unlike one that may just hook into the place for your microphone.

So, if you do alot of listening and recording online or at your computer then this is a useful tool for you!

Just recently I decided to get acrylic nails. My own fingernails have always left a bit to be desired. So, I was excited to get them, however there was one thing I dreaded doing with them, dishes. I have a dishwasher but apparently it is not the very best, it does not get my dishes clean. So lately I’ve been trying to wash more of them by hand. No fun, but someone’s gotta do it.

So, yesterday I was in the local dollar store, and I was searching for gloves to use to cover my pretty nails when doing dreaded dishes. Instead, I happened upon this great gadget, a dishwashing liquid dispensing wand and scrubber for doing dishes. It was super cheap, and though I’ve seen more expensive models I decided to opt for it and give it a try.

I got the gadget home and had to try it out. I whizzed through the dishes in not time, and even better barely had to get my hands wet. I was one happy momma. You can get a similar wand to the one I was using here.

The Hawaian Shaved Ice Maker, and it’s reasonably priced at $34.95. Not bad huh? Now I can have have that heavenly ice that I crave. It’s perfect for hot summer days too with the kids, or for a fun treat anytime. Get some Kool aid and you’re all set.

These also make fun drinks to make at your next party or back yard BBQ. It will be a great addition to your other kitchen gadgets, and one I’m sure you’ll find yourself using more than you ever expected. I know I sure will!

Growing up I loved to read, so much so that my parents would have to MAKE me turn out my bedroom light or lamp. Later in life I discovered the clip on light, or reading light that is perfect for reading a book in bed. I even found a travel sized one at the dollar store that was perfect for traveling. I used it during college. It was so useful to have to read by especially late night study times.

I’m sure there are other uses you can find for such a light. They make these in other styles and models that work well with seeing under your car hood for example or illuminating the interior of your car to read while someone else is driving or to read your map on vacation at night.

There are many uses for this handy gadget which I’m sure you may think of that I haven’t mentioned. It makes a perfect gift for almost anyone in your life, so remember that when birthdays come or the holidays are approaching. Inexpensive but useful, what coul be a better gift?

The kitchen timer, such a small, but oh so handy gadget, the everyday kitchen timer really can help us moms with so many important tasks, accomplishing more around the house, putting the kids in timeout, making a game of clean up time, cooking the perfect meal, baking cookies. All of it, the kitchen timer can help you to do and do well.

Using a kitchen timer for the previously mentioned tasks can be well…. handy. Just think, you will be able to get more done knowing you have 15 minutes to do it and that timer is going to buzz when the minutes are over. It has been a motivation for me, and for my son if I can get him to stop asking me “mom, when is the timer going to go off?”

There are different models available out there today including the old windup, and then theirs the new sleek digital timer, whatever floats your boat, you can use them both equally as well.

So, what do you use your handy dandy kitchen timer for?

I’m thinking this gadget will cure my obsession. Let’s hope so. You see I have an obsession with waffles. Currently I am allowing Eggo to supply my need, but the real deal would be so much better. So I’m in the market for a real deal maker, a waffle maker that is. You know the kind, the Holiday Express has them, so does Waffle House. They make those glorious crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside waffles, heaven on a plate.

So, here are a few irons I found online as I began to research a cure for my obsession. They range in price from super cheap, $16.99 to pricey $179.99 for a model that makes 4 waffles at a time. I’m unsure which would be better, but I do know I’m on a budget.

This model is very simliar to what you see used in restaurants and hotels and for $39.99 it sounds reasonable. It rotates, has the handy indicator light and makes those perfect Belgian waffles we all crave. I think I’ll snag myself one….what about you??

I have been repeatedly impressed with this gadget as we have used it on a couple of family vacations, and other trips around. We purchased it after I had a horrible experience getting lost in New Orleans, and after returning there with good ole Tom, I was glad to have made the purchase. Tom will definitely not allow you to get lost. Its touchscreen and easy use features are a must for anyone who travels.

In fact, the only issue we’ve had with Tom is keeping him charged up so that we can enjoy his presence throughout the trip.
