At least for me. I’ve heard of horror stories about it too and noticed it doesn’t work well for people who have fine hair. My daughter has fine hair and noticed it only works well for her if she puts it up in a french knot or bun to bulk it up. For me, it works great because I have thick and very course hair and it’s been really hard to find any kind of comb to keep the hair in place because it’s so heavy.

I bought mine at the local Dollar General though, not on TV which saved me a bunch on the shipping. I must say it is not extremely well made so I do not expect it to last very long. But they are very pretty.
