Christmas Catalogs Now? My Cards Done Too

by Lynette

Well, well, look what came in my mail lately? A Christmas catalog. My first instincts were oh no, my kids haven’t even started school. My second thought was, time to start thinking about ordering and sending out greeting cards again.

Now, in previous years, that would really be a horrible thought. Though I enjoyed receiving greeting cards - hey who doesn’t like to be loved and remembered? I also dreaded this task with a vengeance. Last year things finally came to a head. My husband had me order cards which I did, but… they never got sent! Boy, he was not a happy camper.

It was last year too I started an autoship cards program. Every 90 days, I’d get a set of greeting cards mailed straight to my doorstep. Each shipment consisted of a variety of cards for different occasions. They were all quality cards and very, beautiful. The problem? Me again. Despite my best efforts, I only managed to mail out one card. Needless to say, subscription cancelled.

But this year, is a whole new story and I’m really very excited about it too! That’s because I’ve found I can do it all online and best of all, I can schedule all the cards now. Can you imagine? Having your Christmas mailing done in August and people receiving them at the right time. It didn’t even take me that long. Simply import my address book into the system. Group them - family, friends, business associates. Type my message, select the card - I could even upload a photo of us and create our own cards - something we never got to do during Christmas. Then I just hit send. It is so, so exciting. It’s been months since I started using this and have sent out more cards than I did in 7 years!

Also, the last time I mailed a card to a business associate on her birthday, I included a Starbucks card in it as a birthday gift. Wow! It felt awesome. Yes, you can even send Christmas gifts with this system. That is, if your family and friends don’t mind a check or a gift card. Personally, I prefer them to any gift.

Anyhow, if you want to take this system for a test drive, just head right on over to this page. You get two free cards to send to whomever or send one to yourself to see how it works.

Oh… one last thing and I promise I’ll stop gushing about it. All our cards this Christmas will be in my hand writing. Uh huh! They put my hand writing into the system as a font. How cool is that?

Oh yea! It is super. There are few products that make me wanna gush. It’s also a lot of fun. Helps me keep in touch with people rather than just email. Despite being a gadget mom I still love getting snail mail especially cards :)
