I hate staples. Never used to but now I do because the little ones just love to use them up. It is so frustrating to go staple something and find you’re out of staples. Which is why I’m getting one of those staple-less staplers. It works by punching a hole in the sheets of paper and folder the tab over. The only down side is the limited number of sheets you can staple together. Which is not a huge deal since we don’t do that much at the home office anyway.
If I need to hold more sheets of paper together, I would use the paper clipper tool. It’s something I got hooked on from Asia. I couldn’t describe it well enough on text so I made a video to show you

Ok, it’s not exactly a Dymo Labelwriter but the old CoStar which works perfectly by the way until recently
I am more than bummed because this little printer has been with us since before the kids and it’s been ultra useful. My biggest use for it is for stamps. I cannot tell you just how much I have grown attached to the fact that I don’t have to drive to the post office to mail or ship anything. I really don’t like going to the post office unless it’s after hours to collect mail from the post box.
If you’ve been thinking of one, I think it’s a great investment. A HUGE time saver really, especially around this time when cards and gifts go out. Who wants to stand in line?
I’m definitely looking out for a replacement.

I don’t know about you but at our house keeping up with the extra toilet paper rolls is a challenge. We don’t have quite enough room under the sink to store the whole pack and I just can’t stand sitting the extra rolls on the back of the toilet. That’s a good way to get wet paper and no one wants that, right?
For months I have been searching for a “solution”. A magazine and Toilet Paper Holderis the perfect solution. It takes care of two of the needs I have in the bathroom, toilet paper and reading material. Plus, this particular one is not too bad to look at either. It blends in well with almost any decor.
Solve your toilet paper issues with a toilet paper holder / magazine rack like this one or something similar. You’re bathroom will stay clean and neater.

If your family is like mine you’ve had your unwelcomed share of germs and therefore sickness already this year. I have been looking for any way possible to help combat some of those germs and help keep us well. One of the things that I have found that I was super curious about and its effectiveness is the Germ Guardian GG- UV-C Air Sanitizer. It is a small plug-in device that is said to kill 99.9% of airborne germs. It is quiet, and small and is most effective in small spaces such as bedrooms in your home. It utilizes UV-C technology to rid your home of airborne germs and odors.
At under $100 I’m thinking is definitely worth a try. It is definitely cheaper than my medical bills lately. And you can only handle so much Lysol right? There is no harm in trying to keep the air in my home a little less germy and a little more healthy is my thoughts.
This is when I absolutely agree that technology is a good thing.

Spring is just around the corner, and though we’re bundled up now and not even thinking of the warm days that lie ahead, they’ll be here soon and for some of us with spring comes the itch to organize. Spring cleaning and organizing can be good for us, our homes and our businesses.
One of the best ways to get organized is to begin labeling things. Of course you must first go through the simply organization process of sorting, purging and putting away, but once everything is put in its proper place why not label the container so that you can quickly and easily see where it is to go the next time you have to put it away.
This is especially good if you and others use the item or if you’re trying to get your child to stay organized. There are many ways to label things, but a Label Maker 1 is a handy tool that will make organizing a little more enjoyable and faster too. These are quick and easy to use and creates a crisp, sharp label for you to use, making you more likely to label things.

If you think your co-workers at the office are bad at swiping your stationery, wait till your kids start swiping yours. I’m constantly losing pens, pencils, scissors and yes, staples. What really irks me about staples is when they do get returned, the staples are gone – spent. I refill them and next time I pick them up they are staple-less again.
I know whose been swiping them and to be honest I get worried they’d staple their finger with it. I’ve been wanting one of these staple-less staplers for a while. Now I find out that Crayola has their own as well. Maybe this will keep them from swiping my staples. One less thing to buy and safer too.
I have heard it said for every minute spent in organizing, an hour is earned. Some weeks housework is all I seem to do, but more frustrating than housework is finding all the items I need. These magnetic storage bins have made organizing those items a little bit easier. This storage bin gives you a place to hold all your accessories. The magnetic storage bin are made to attach to a washer, refrigerator or any other metal surface. It is guaranteed not slip. For the laundry room is can hold dryer sheets, wash cloths, or spray bottles. In the kitchen you can use it to hold spices you use daily, or a cleaning sponge. For your home office it is perfect in holding mail, pens, and more. The options are endless.
Keeping these smaller items in one place where it is easy for you use will save you precious time and effort.
