Last week I had something happen to me for the very first time in my life.  I got pulled over by a cop for speeding.  Mind you I realize that I was actually speeding, but nothing overly fast.  Nonetheless I was guilty.  Luckily, I did not get a ticket, but it would have been bad if I had.

Do any of you have experience using a Radar Detector ?  I remember when I was in high school I had a lot of college friends who had them.  They obviously flew down the interstate back and forth from college, but me on the other hand I just putted around town as I do now and never saw any real use for one.

What do you think?  Is a radar detector a gadget this mom should get?  Will it get me out of the dreaded speeding ticket?
