With the advent of blogs, I’ve seen many moms blog about their fitness goals and have their readers cheer them on. I think that’s great. Traineo also works a bit like that except to me, it’s more motivating because you can actually see how many people have done what and how many calories everyone has reported they burned so far.

If you’re competitive like me, boy that sure is motivation. Basically, you set up a free account, invite four friends and family members to cheer you on and witness your achievements. It also does other things like tracking your progress.

There are groups within the site you can join. For example I just put myself in a moms group where there’s already some forum threads going on. It doesn’t look like you can invite group members to review your work outs. But I guess if you find a buddy you can always get their email and invite them that way.
