Going green is the goal for this year. Architec Cork Cutting Board brings going green to food preparation. This is not your normal cutting board, the Cork Cutting Board is made of agglomerated cork, small cork glued together using heat and pressure. This particular cork is harvested by hand by gently peeling the bark off the trees. This method is a very earth-friendly way of harvesting the cork, by leaving the tree intact and healthy and ready to produce more.

The first thing you may notice is the design, it is a little different from normal cutting boards, but the cork texture and flexibility makes the board grip the counter tops. It is moisture repellent and naturally antibacterial. The Cork Cutting Board recovers from blade compression better than other materials—and it won’t dull knives. With it aluminum hanging ring you can hang to store, or it can be stored on its side taking up no space at all.
