Ok, so it’s not an album I made myself. God knows I can’t sing but I do love to spin the records. There’s something special about it. I’ve always loved sitting in front of the (then) record player and playing DJ. I used to do this a lot when I was a kid. We’d just sit down, go through our family’s record collection, pick out the special songs and spin them.

Yes, we had real records in our house and I do know how to use, clean and maintain a record player too. When I became an adult and CD’s replaced my records, I’d do the same thing. I find it very relaxing after a bad day at work, great way to start a weekend. Just no TV, low lights, good company and good music.

I have a huge love for 50′s and 60′s music thanks to mom and dad. On Youtube the other night, I managed to save up to 44 tracks as favorites and wasn’t even done yet. Well, since I can make a playlist out of it, why not share it with you my friends?

This is my 50′s and 60′s playlist. It will play automatically one after the other. I’m not a professional DJ of course and only picked out the music that I love. So you may here a jumble of styles from Folk to Motown all mixed into a huge big ball. But if you like oldies, you should enjoy it. I normally play them without watching the videos but some of the old vids are pretty cool.
